Abstract A Modular System for Forming Stairs The present invention relates to a modular system for forming concrete stairs. The system has at least one stair formwork module for connecting to an adjacent stair formwork module and/or a pre-formed landing. Each stair formwork module consists of a stair former to be retained in the concrete body of the set of stairs and one or more parallel frames extending transverse within the stair former and allowing the free spreading of concrete to be introduced into the space of the stair former. At least one locating and/or fastening formation is located on each frame to facilitate locating and/or fastening to another frame and at least one aperture is located in each frame for receiving therethrough a reinforcing member.
