TERRACE WITH ECOLOGICAL ISOLATION ZONES AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a terrace with ecological isolation zones and a construction method thereof. The method includes the following steps: (1) spreading a geotextile on the bottom of a trimmed ridge; (2) stacking reinforced soil on the geotextile; (3) folding the geotextile from the end away from the ridge upwards and inwards to wrap the reinforced soil; (4) continuing to stack the reinforced soil on the folded end of the geotextile, and then trimming to form a first layer of reinforced soil ridge-protection structure; (5) continuing to construct multiple layers of reinforced soil ridge-protection structure until it is higher than the field surface on the upper side of the ridge and forms a footpath; (6) trimming the field surfaces on the upper and lower sides of the ridge; and (7) excavating multiple rectangular water channels on the inner side of the field surface on the lower side of the ridge, where, the inner side is close to the ridge; and the rectangular water channels are arranged at intervals, and have a lengthwise direction parallel to the ridge. The present invention uses a geotextile to wrap reinforced soil to form a ridge with a stable structure. Moreover, the water pits are excavated on the field surface under the ridge to better collect water and nutrients, thereby ensuring the supply of water and nutrients for the field surface.
