The invention relates to a flat-based foundation (1) for a component (2), in particular for a projecting structure, in particular for a wind turbine, having a foundation plate (11) having a bottom side (4), a top side (5) and a center point (MP) and having at least one first, non-load-dissipating soft layer insert (6) on or under the bottom side (4) of the foundation plate (11). The at least one first soft layer insert (6) is arranged spaced apart from the center point (MP) and divides the foundation (1) into at least one inner (7) and at least one outer load-dissipating region (8).
