[Abstract] A water purification cartridge comprising: a water 5 purification functional portion; a connection terminal portion that forms a downstream-side end portion of the water purification cartridge; an end face that is located on a downstream side of the water purification cartridge and that forms a downstream-side end face of the connection 10 terminal portion; and a wall portion that is provided on the connection terminal portion and located on an upstream side of the end face, a diameter of a virtual cylindrical surface that passes through a radial-direction outermost portion of the end face and that is coaxial with the water 15 purification cartridge is denoted by Dl, a diameter of a virtual cylindrical surface that passes through a radial direction outermost portion of the wall portion and that is coaxial with the water purification cartridge is denoted by D2, Dl is greater than or equal to 6.0 mm and less than or 20 equal to 20.0 mm, and a difference (D2-D1) is greater than or equal to 0.5 mm and less than or equal to 6.0 mm.
