The present invention relates to the provision of a dental restoration material, from a dental hydraulic cement comprising ultrafine calcium silicate (UCS) particles, in presence of a limited amount of water, so that the hydraulic cement fast hardens while providing a material having suitable mechanical properties for dental restoration, and especially a high compressive strength.
