METHOD FOR REINFORCING COLUMN WITH A SLEEVED EXTERNALLY THIN-WALLED STEEL TUBE AND SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE
The present invention discloses a method for reinforcing a column with a sleeved externally thin-walled steel tube and self-compacting concrete, and relates to a structure reinforcement technology in the field of civil engineering. The method includes the following steps of: (1) performing construction preparation; (2) treating the surface of a reinforced concrete column; (3) sleeving externally the steel tube; (4) pouring concrete; and (5) performing external rust proof treatment. The sleeved externally steel tube can restrain core concrete so that the strength of the core concrete can be fully exerted. The method can not only significantly improve the bearing capacity and stiffness of the reinforced column, but also improve the ductility of the column. Further, the plasticity and toughness of the concrete column are improved, the operation is simple, the construction is fast, the engineering cost is relatively low, and application prospect is wide.
