IN-WALL TUNDISH REPAIR ASSEMBLY
The disclosure includes details of an in-wall tundish refurbishment arrangement for installation in an in-wall tundish for installation within a wall cavity formed by at least one 5 wall panel of an internal wall of a room in a building. The wall cavity has an inside surface and an outside surface. The outside surface of the wall panel being on the room side of the internal wall of the building, and there being at least one pipe for communicating fluid into an upper opening of the in-wall tundish and at least one pipe for communicating fluid away from a lower opening of the in-wall tundish. There can be problems with the installed tundish 0 particularly in the vicinity of the air gap opening portion which is located between the upper opening and the lower opening of the in-wall tundish. The in-wall tundish refurbishment assembly comprises an adaptor element sized to abut the air gap opening portion of the in wall tundish and sized and shaped to maintain fluid communication with the lower opening and to permit the flow of fluid through the air gap opening into the room of the building in an 5 overflow condition, and an extension element extending from the adaptor element adapted by shape and configuration to extend internally between the multiple walls defining the in-wall tundish to close off the upper opening from the lower opening, and the extension element is further adapted to permit at least one pipe for communicating fluid into an upper opening through the extension element to a side of the extension element in fluid communication with 0 both the air gap portion and the lower opening of the in-wall tundish assembly.
