Lockable cabinet system and locking assembly therefor
LOCKABLE CABINET SYSTEM AND LOCKING ASSEMBLY In a locking assembly (110) for a lockable cabinet system (10), a base (112) supports an electronic lock (120) for locking and unlocking the cabinet (14). The electronic lock (120) may be releasably attachable to the base (112) at a plurality of spaced apart positions. A one-piece release bar (160) can be connected to an override toggle (128) of the electronic lock (120). First and second electronic lock override devices may be connected to the release bar (160) for independently overriding electronic actuation of the lock (120). The electronic lock (120) may be supported on the base (112) such that the electronic lock (120) is separated from the wall of the cavity or the base (112) by a gap. An externally adjustable cam lock (200) can be provided to selectively override the electronic lock (120). Such cam lock (200) can further inhibit removal of a cover (150) of the locking assembly (110) when locked and allow removal of the cover (150) when unlocked, thereby providing tamper-resistance. 0% r (D0 CC%4
