Lockable cabinet system and locking assembly thereof
In a locking assembly for a lockable cabinet system, a base supports an electronic lock for locking and unlocking a cabinet. The electronic lock may be releasably connected to the base at a plurality of spaced apart locations. The one-piece release lever may be connected with an alternative switch of the electronic lock. First and second electronic lock replacement devices may be connected to the release lever for independently replacing activation of the electronic lock. The electronic lock may be supported on the base such that there is a gap between the electronic lock and the cavity wall or the base. An externally adjustable cam lock may be provided to selectively replace an electronic lock. The cam lock can further prevent the cover of the locking assembly from being removed when locked and allow the cover to be removed when unlocked, thereby providing a tamper-proof function.
