BUILDING SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM HAVING A FIRE PROTECTION MEANS
A building sliding door system (1) separates a first building region (21) from a second building region (22). The building sliding door system (1) has a frame structure (2), which has a passage region (2b) and a wall shell region (2c), and a sliding door (4) which can be displaced in the frame structure (2) between a closed position and an open position, wherein the wall shell region (2c) at least partially receives the sliding door (4) in the open position. Also provided are an electromechanical drive unit (6) and a control device (8) which control the displacement of the sliding door (4). Additionally present is a fire protection unit (6) which has a bracket (8) and, movably mounted on the bracket (8), a fire protection device (10) made of a material having a defined fire resistance. The fire protection device (10) is horizontally displaceable within the wall shell region (2c) with respect to the bracket (8) between a retracted position, in which the sliding door (4) is in the open position, and an extended position, in which the sliding door (4) is in the closed position.
