A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Abstract A footing plate for a structural support comprises a platform with a plurality of tubes downwardly extending at non-orthogonal angles to the platform. The tubes receive pins through the platform for fixing the footing plate into underlying ground. At least four slots are positioned at substantially ninety degree intervals around a common point on a surface of the platform. The slots are oriented such that longitudinal axes of the slots radially extend outward from the common point. A plurality of bolts are receivable through respective apertures provided in a base of the structural support and through the slots for fastening the base relative to the platform. A plurality of spacers are positionable between the base and the platform. The spacers are configured to engage the bolts and/or base such that the base can be fastened by the bolts at a plurality of different tilt angles relative to the platform.
