FORMWORK FOR STRUCTURAL COLUMNS
Abstract A column formwork assembly including: a pair of sheathing panels arranged opposite each other to define a mould cavity; at least one elongated, steel support member located on the outwardly facing surface of at least one of the sheathing panels; and a tie member passing through the mould cavity between the opposite sheathing panels, wherein fasteners passing through the opposite sheathing panels and the support members located behind the sheathing panels engage opposite ends of the tie member thereby tying together the sheathing panels on opposite sides of the mould cavity.
