Apparatus to suppress noise at a juncture of a first building member and a second building member, said apparatus including: a central portion (145) and first and second side portions (146, 147) integrally formed with said central portion (145) and projecting from said central portion (145) at opposite sides of said central portion (145); a first wing portion (139') extending from said first side portion (146) and a second wing portion (139") extending from said second side portion (147); said first wing portion (139') having a different profile to said second wing portion (139"); wherein said apparatus overlies said first building member and separates the first building member from the second building member.
