ROADWAY GUARDRAIL SYSTEM
A roadway guardrail system including a rail, a plurality of support posts, and a plurality of fasteners assembly to redirect an impacting vehicle and dissipate a portion of the impacting vehicle's energy. Block-outs may be positioned in between the rail and support posts. A plurality of support posts each includes a slot extending along its length aligning with apertures in the rail and engaging with the rail through the apertures with fasteners including reinforcing members slidable along the slots in the posts. Alternatively, the rail has a plurality of laterally extending slots aligning with apertures in support posts and engaging with the support posts through the apertures with fasteners including reinforcing members slidable along the slots.
L'invention porte sur un système de glissière de sécurité pour route comprenant un rail, une pluralité de montants de support et une pluralité d'ensembles de fixation, pour rediriger un véhicule heurtant le système et dissiper une partie de l'énergie du véhicule heurtant le système. Des éléments de bouchage peuvent être positionnés entre le rail et les montants de support. Ces différents montants de support comprennent chacune une fente s'étendant le long de sa longueur, alignée avec des ouvertures dans le rail et s'engageant avec le rail à travers les ouvertures, avec des éléments de fixation comprenant des éléments de renfort pouvant coulisser le long des fentes dans les montants.
