METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FINISHING AN ENGINEERED WOOD BOARD
A method for finishing an engineered wood board comprising a decor layer on at least the top and/or the bottom. The top and bottom are cleaned and a first top resin layer containing corundum particles and a first bottom resin layer are applied to the top and bottom, respectively. The first top and bottom resin layers are dried to a residual moisture content of 3% to 6%. A second top resin layer containing cellulose and a second bottom resin layer are applied to the top and bottom, respectively and then dried to a residual moisture content of 3% to 6%. An at least third top resin layer containing glass particles and an at least third bottom resin layer are applied to the top and bottom, respectively and to a residual moisture content of 3% to 6%. All layers and the engineered wood board are pressed under pressure and heat.
