MORTARLESS MODULAR MASONRY SIDING SYSTEM
A pre-cast siding panel for mortarless application to a building structure is disclosed, which includes a structure for capturing and draining infiltrated water away from the building structure. In a preferred embodiment, the siding panel includes a cast facing panel made of settable material and having a front face exposed in an installed condition of the panel and top, bottom and side edges for engagement with like panels positioned adjacent thereto; and a supporting spacer partially embedded in the rear surface of the facing panel, the spacer including a mounting portion for fastening the siding panel to the building structure and a water management portion for managing infiltrated water away from the building structure, by capturing infiltrated water which has seeped past the front face along one or more of the edges and draining the captured infiltrated water away from the building structure.
L'invention concerne un panneau de bardage préfabriqué à appliquer sans mortier sur une structure de bâtiment, qui comprend une structure de capture et de drainage de l'eau infiltrée hors de la structure de bâtiment. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le panneau de bardage comprend une plaque de parement moulée en matériau durcissable et présentant une face avant exposée lorsque la plaque est installée, et des bords supérieur, inférieur et latéraux destinés à coopérer avec des plaques adjacentes; et un espaceur de support partiellement incorporé dans la surface arrière de la plaque de parement, comprenant une partie de montage pour fixer le panneau de bardage à la structure de bâtiment et une partie d'évacuation de l'eau destinée à évacuer l'eau infiltrée de la structure de bâtiment par capture de l'eau infiltrée qui suinte devant la face avant le long d'un ou de plusieurs bords, et par drainage de l'eau infiltrée capturée hors de la structure de bâtiment.
