MORTARLESS MODULAR SIDING SYSTEM
A modular siding panel for mortarless application to a building structure is disclosed, which includes a structure for capturing and draining infiltrated water within the panel. In a preferred embodiment, the siding panel includes a rigid facing panel made of weather resistant material and having a front face exposed in an installed condition of the panel and top, bottom and side edges for engagement with like panels positioned adjacent thereto; and a supporting spacer fastened to the rear surface of the facing panel, the spacer including a mounting portion for attachment of the siding panel to the building structure and a water management portion for capturing infiltrated water which has seeped past the front face along one or more of the edges and draining the captured infiltrated water within the modular siding panel or within the spacer and away from the building structure.
L'invention concerne un panneau de parement modulaire applicable sans mortier sur une structure de bâtiment, qui comprend une structure de piégeage et de drainage de l'eau infiltrée à l'intérieur du panneau. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le panneau de parement comprend une plaque de revêtement rigide en matériau résistant aux intempéries et présentant une face avant exposée lorsque la plaque est installée, et des bords supérieur, inférieur et latéraux qui viennent en prise avec des plaques similaires adjacentes; et une entretoise de support fixée à la surface arrière de la plaque de revêtement. L'entretoise comprend une partie de montage pour fixer le panneau de parement à la structure de bâtiment et une partie de gestion de l'eau qui piège l'eau infiltrée et suintant devant la face avant le long d'un ou de plusieurs bords, et draine l'eau infiltrée piégée à l'intérieur du panneau de parement modulaire ou à l'intérieur de l'entretoise pour l'évacuer de la structure de bâtiment.
