BUILDING PANELS OF SOLID WOOD
Building panels each comprise an upper first element 31of solid wood fixed to a lower second element 32 of solid wood. The first and the lower second element are of different wood species. The building panels are provided with a mechanical locking system, which comprises a locking strip 6, at a first edge 5b of a first building panel 1.The locking strip provided with a locking element 8 configured to cooperate with a locking groove 14, at a second edge 5a of a second building panel 1a for horizontal locking of the first and the second building panels when a tension force is applied. The fibre direction FD of the first and the lower secondelements31, 32 is essentially along the first and the second edges 5b, 5a. The lower second element 32 has about the same or higher moisture shrinkage value than the first element. The locking strip comprises material of the lower second element (32).
Panneaux de construction comprenant respectivement un premier élément 31 supérieur en bois massif fixé à un deuxième élément 32 inférieur en bois massif. Le premier élément et le deuxième élément inférieur sont d'essences différentes. Les panneaux de construction sont pourvus d'un système de verrouillage mécanique qui comprend une bande de verrouillage 6, au niveau d'un premier bord 5b d'un premier panneau de construction 1. Cette bande de verrouillage étant pourvue d'un élément de verrouillage 8 conçu pour coopérer avec une rainure de verrouillage 14 ménagée sur un second bord 5a d'un second panneau de construction 1a aux fins de verrouillage horizontal des premier et second panneaux de construction en présence d'un effort de tension. La direction FD des fibres du premier élément 31 et du second élément 32 inférieur suit sensiblement le premier et le second bords 5b, 5a. Le second élément 32 inférieur a une valeur de retrait liée à l'humidité environ égale ou supérieure à celle du premier élément. La bande de verrouillage comporte du matériau du deuxième élément (32) inférieur.
