ANTI-LIGATURE AND ANTI-MICROBIAL DOOR HANDLE
An anti-ligature door handle comprising having a base plate secured to a door, and a door handle having an anti-microbial coating applied thereto, and having a first end connected to the base plate and a second end connected to the first end in a substantially perpendicular downward relationship to the first end. In this manner, a person can open the handle by pulling only with their wrist, and without the need to touch the handle with hands, thereby reducing contact with germs and contagions.
