The invention discloses a preparation method for producing an autoclaved aerated concrete block by using antimony ore tailings. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) drying and grinding the antimony ore tailings, and then screening to obtain standby antimony ore tailings with particle diameters less than or equal to 0.150 mm; (2) mixing and stirring the antimony ore tailings obtained from the step (1) with quicklime powder, fly ash, cement, gypsum and water, wherein raw materials are as follows in percentage by weight: 65%-75% of the antimony ore tailings, 13%-23% of the fly ash, 5% of the quicklime powder, 2% of the gypsum and 5% of the cement, and the water-material ratio is 0.60-0.68; then adding a foaming aluminum powder suspension, wherein the weight of aluminum powder contained in the foaming aluminum powder suspension accounts for 0.10%-0.15% of the dry weight of the raw materials; (3) foaming a mixed slurry obtained from the step (2) into a blank, and curing; (4) carrying out autoclaved curing on the blank obtained from the step (3) to obtain the autoclaved aerated concrete block. The preparation method disclosed by the invention can be used for saving the energy resources and the resources by substituting the antimony ore tailings for sand, achieves the harmless and recycling utilization of the antimony ore tailings, accords with the national circular economy industrial policy and achieves outstanding economic benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits.
