The invention relates to a heat-preservation fire-resistant paper-surface gypsum board and a preparation method thereof. The heat-preservation fire-resistant paper-surface gypsum board is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of gypsum clinker, 0.1-1 part of modified starch, 5-15 parts of expanded perlite, 1-10 parts of redispersible latex powder, 0.1-0.6 part of EPS fiber and 50-100 parts of water. By virtue of heat-preservation and fire-resistant capacities of expanded perlite particles as well as the synergistic effect between the EPS fiber and the redispersible latex powder, the prepared paper-surface gypsum board has excellent fire resistance, and the adhesive property can meet national standard requirements; fire stability of the board reaches 56 minutes and is far higher than a national standard; the heat conductivity coefficient of the board is 0.07W/(m.K), and the heat insulation performance of the board is higher than 0.2W/(m.K)-0.3W/(m.K) which is the heat insulation performance of a general paper-surface gypsum board; the strength and other various indexes of the paper-surface gypsum board meet the national standard requirements.
