The invention discloses a hand-cranked and side-hung dual purpose shutter which comprises two shutter bodies, wherein each shutter body comprises fixed shutters and mobile shutters; the periphery of each shutter body is assembled in a section bar frame structure; the section bar frame structures are arranged in an external frame; mutually symmetrical hand-cranking controllers are arranged on the external frame; each section bar frame structure comprises a top section bar connecting structure, a bottom section bar connecting structure, a first side section bar connecting structure and a second side section bar connecting structure; first side connecting structures are located on two external sides of each shutter body; second side connecting structures are located on two inner sides of each shutter body; two first side section bar connecting structures are connected in a coordinating manner by a middle connecting structure. The hand-cranked and side-hung dual purpose shutter disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the shutter has the characteristics of being capable of realizing two purposes of opening in flat and hand cranking, simple in structure, convenient to install and strong in structure symmetry; the symmetrical section bars simplify the installing structure of side-hung doors; operations are performed easily; the installing stability is high; the effects of water insulation, heat insulation, sound insulation and the like are good.
