The novel geogrid comprises a plurality of strips and connection belts which are longitudinally and transversely arranged at intervals and are mutually connected in stagger; each strip comprises a core wire layer; a protection layer coats the surface of the core wire layer; a plurality of bump nodes are formed at the external surface of the protection layer; the connection belts are connected with the protection layers through welding, so that the plurality of strips and the connection belts form the grid structure. The novel geogrid is simple in structure; through the core wire layers manufactured by polyester fibers, the creep coefficient of the grid can be effectively reduced; the rough surfaces formed by the bump nodes at the surface of the protection layers and soil particles mutually act; the integral stability and pulling resistance of the geotechnical structure can be improved; fiber lines are coated by a protection sleeve so as to avoid the damage problem on the grids by construction; the construction loss and geotechnical structure hidden danger can be effectively reduced.
