The invention provides an engineering-oriented walking board. The surface of the walking board is composed of two panels made of different materials alternately; the panels of one type are steel panels made of the steel material, while the panels of other type are rubber panels made of the rubber material. The walking board is combined with the advantages of the steel panel and the rubber panel; the walking board has hardness and a relatively large friction coefficient; the width of each panel is greater than 30cm; when a walker slips on the steel panels, the walker can put the feet on the rubber panels to increase the stress on the soles of shoes to prevent slipping.
