The invention discloses an improved ceramic bond and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic bind is composed of the following materials, by weight, 35-45 parts of Na2O, 26-38 parts of B2O3, 28-36 parts of Al2O3, 27-35 parts of SiO2, 10-16 parts of CaO, 12-16 parts of Li2O, 2-6 parts of P2O5 and 4-7 parts of CuO. The ceramic bond is prepared by fully mixing all the raw materials in a ball mill, adding water, conducting ball-milling for 6-8 h, conducting standing for 3-4 h, pouring out the water, conducting drying at the temperature ranging from 95 DEG C to 105 DEG C, conducting ball-milling again, and sieving. The improved ceramic bond can remarkably prolong the service life of a ceramic bond wheel, materials are saved in using, and economic benefits are high.
