A forming method of large-sized isostatic pressing formed graphite comprises the following steps: grinding raw materials needle coke, calcined petroleum coke, pitch coke, carbon black and natural graphite, dry-mixing to obtain a mixture A, wet-mixing modified asphalt, oleic acid and the mixture A at 160-180 DEG C to obtain a mixture B; discharging the mixture B and rolling, roasting the rolled sheet at the roasting temperature being not lower than 1000 DEG C; grinding the roasted rolled sheet to obtain a powder A; wet-mixing the powder A with modified asphalt and oleic acid at the temperature of 180-220 DGE C to obtain a mixture C; discharging the mixture C at the temperature of 160-180 DEG C, rolling, cooling and grinding to obtain a powder B; mixing the powder B at the temperature of 50-70 DGE C, bagging and carrying out isostatic pressing forming. The isostatic pressing formed product prepared by the above method has advantages of large size, high density and uniform internal structure. The forming method provided by the invention greatly lays a good foundation for the roasting process of the isostatic pressing formed product.
