Zirconium carbide granule reinforced pentatitanium trisilicide-based composite material and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a zirconium carbide granule reinforced pentatitanium trisilicide-based composite material and a preparation method thereof, and relates to a ceramic granule strengthened and toughened ceramic-based composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: by controlling vacuum hot-pressure sintering process parameters, carrying out low-temperature solid-phase reaction among ZrC, Ti and Si powder and performing one-time hot-pressure sintering and molding, thereby obtaining a ZrC/Ti5Si3 two-phase ceramic composite material which is clean in interface, and free of glass phase and other impurities. The obtained composite material has excellent mechanical performance, and is a novel high-performance high-temperature structure material.
