The invention relates to a method for preparing lightweight foam concrete. The lightweight foam concrete is prepared from cement 42.5R, an admixture, an additive, a foaming agent and the like as raw materials. The product prepared by the method has the advantages of light weight and good thermal-insulation property; the existing industrial waste resources can be effectively utilized and the utilization rate of the resources is increased.
