Through the appropriate treatment and reasonable ratio of crop residues, a plastic raw material and a water raw material, and the combination of initial blank production, drying and firing steps in the manufacturing process, the plasticity index of 5 to 13 and the drying sensitivity coefficient of less than 1 of mud can be ensured in the preparation process; after extrusion-molded mud strips are cut and then are placed in a drying chamber to be dried, the drying shrinkage rate of the mud strips is less than 8%; and then the mud strips are placed in a firing furnace to be fired, and the temperature rise speed can be controlled by a blower, an air brake, thermocouple temperature measurement and other means in a low-temperature zone, so that the situation that the temperature is out of control due to the rapid combustion of crop residues in the firing process is avoided; and finally, the finished product with mechanical strength of more than 3.5MPa and the density of less than 900kg/m<3> is obtained.
