The invention discloses an environment-friendly artificial stone which is prepared from main raw materials, auxiliary materials and a filler, wherein the main raw materials comprise 10-90 percent of granulated sand, 10-35 percent of quarry waste barren rock, 2-20 percent of pigments and 40-50 percent of calcium carbonate; the auxiliary materials comprise 2-8 percent of glue water, 0.8-2 percent of a curing agent and 0-2 percent of an accelerant; and the filler comprises 5-10 percent of an unsaturated resin. According to the artificial stone obtained by the process disclosed by the invention, the attractive appearance of the product is achieved, the recycled quarry waste barren rock is applied to the artificial stone, the wastes are changed into valuable materials, the problem of environmental pollution caused by the quarry waste barren rock is solved, and the materials are recycled.
