The invention particularly provides a really stone paint which not only comprises a pH regulator, but also comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 17.82 percent of water, 0.30 percent of hydroxyethyl cellulose, 0.06 percent of concentrate 168, 0.06 percent of an enhancer, 0.06 percent of a stabilizer, 9.90 percent of emulsion, 0.50 percent of a coalescing agent and 71.30 percent of quartz sand. A method for preparing the really stone paint comprises the following steps: adding water into a mixing tank, sequentially adding the hydroxyethyl cellulose, the concentrate 168, the enhancer, the stabilizer, the emulsion and the coalescing agent in a stirring state and uniformly stirring; then adding the quartz sand, uniformly stirring and regulating the viscosity; regulating the pH value to be 8 by the pH regulator and after the product is checked to be qualified, packaging. The really stone paint has excellent weather resistance, light resistance and pigment pulverization resistance, has outstanding water whiting resistance, after-tack resistance, alkali burnout resistance, and salt resistance and excellent adhesive force and cohesive force; the color rendering property of the paint is improved and gloss of a paint film is improved.
