The invention relates to embedded type ecological slope protection and a preparation method thereof, wherein the embedded type ecological slope protection provided by the invention is low in production cost, high in sludge aerobic digestion rate, heavy metal leaching rate and slope protection strength, good in killing effect of pathogenic microorganism in sludge and wide in applicable range; and the water-retaining property and the fertilizer efficiency of sludge are sufficiently utilized. The embedded type ecological slope protection disclosed by the invention comprises grass seeds, excess sludge and chemical materials; and the mass percentages of the excess sludge and the chemical materials are as follows: 85-95% of excess sludge (dry matter), 1.5-3% of FeC13, 0.5-2% of AlC13, 2-5% of MgC12, and 1-5% of CaO.
