The invention discloses a construction method for constructing a culvert through concrete hollow building blocks. The construction method comprises the following steps: a first step of processing concrete hollow building blocks into concrete hollow building blocks of special shapes; a second step of selecting concrete hollow building blocks of common shapes according to a design dimension; a third step of forming transverse insertion slots and vertical insertion slots in bottoms of the concrete hollow building blocks of special shapes and the concrete hollow building blocks of common shapes; a fourth step of penetrating a transverse screw-thread steel rib into a cross connector; a fifth step of inserting transverse screw-thread steel ribs into transverse insertion slots; a sixth step of inserting the cross connector into vertical screw-thread steel ribs and blocking into the vertical insertion slots; a seventh step of forming a set of through holes in sides of the concrete hollow building blocks of special shapes and the concrete hollow building blocks of common shapes; an eighth step of injecting cement mortar into the through holes; a ninth step of plugging through holes and connecting seams among the concrete hollow building blocks; a tenth step of constructing the culvert by coating cement mortar concrete hollow bricks on exposed surfaces of the concrete hollow building blocks. The construction method is used for constructing the culvert through concrete hollow building blocks.
