A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention discloses a heat-insulating brick. The heat-insulating brick comprises a brick body, a straw rope and a wood board, wherein the brick body is made of clay and is internally provided with a first cavity body and a second cavity body in sequence from top to bottom; the straw rope is filled in the first cavity body till the first cavity body is full; the wood board is filled in the second cavity body. The heat-insulating brick disclosed by the invention has the advantages that when in raining, the water can be absorbed by the straw rope and the wood board in the brick so as to enable the room to be dried; when in summer, the brick is insolated by the sun, firstly the water of the straw rope and the wood board in the brick is absorbed, the room is cooler since the heat is taken away by the water, and after the water is removed, better heat-insulating effect is generated due to multi-layered structure of the brick; and when in winter, since the water in a wall is absorbed by the straw rope and the wood board, colder vapor can not be transferred into the room, so that the heat-preserving effect for the room is achieved.
