The invention discloses raw material powder for a zirconia ceramic part with high wear resistance and a preparation method of the raw material powder. The raw material powder is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of a material A, 0.5-3.5 parts of PVA, 0.1-2 parts of arabic gum, 0.1-1.5 parts of glycerin and 123-130 parts of deionized water, wherein the material A comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-83 parts of yttrium-stablized zirconia, 5-40 parts of yttrium-stablized zirconia clinkers, 0.5-8 parts of bauxite, 0.1-0.5 part of aluminum oxide, 0.03-0.2 part of magnesium oxide and 0.01-0.25 part of calcium oxide. The raw material powder disclosed by the invention is high in wear resistance and hardness and corrosion-resistant. The ceramic part made of the raw material powder disclosed by the invention is high in wear resistance and beneficial to continuous and durable application; and the raw material powder can be widely applied to other ceramic equipment or tools with high wear-resistant requirements.
