The invention discloses a burner preformed part for a rotary kiln and a preparation method thereof. The preformed part is prepared from tabular corundum, Si2Al4O4N4, Al3BC3, zirconium spinel, strontium carbonate powder, vanadium carbide powder, alumina micro powder, pure calcium aluminate cement, composite powder, admixture and aluminum chloride solution. The preformed part is formed by adopting a self flowing pouring method, and is maintained, dried and heated at a high temperature. Compared with traditional castables, the preformed part has the characteristics of self flowing construction, self-defoaming, peeling resistance, high abrasion resistance, long service life and the like, and can be more widely applied to coal-injection duct parts of rotary kilns in various lime rotary kilns, such as cement industries, lime industries, roasting industries and metallurgic industries.
