The invention provides a building template support system and an installing method thereof. The building template support system comprises a top plate template mechanism and a support mechanism, wherein the top plate template mechanism comprises a main keel and a secondary keel; the secondary keel is overlapped on the main keel; the support mechanism comprises a plurality of support units; the support units are arranged below the top plate template in the vertical direction. By adopting the building template support system and the installing method thereof, template support in a deformed building area is solved effectively, the template support cost is lowered, the template support can be built rapidly, and the working efficiency of a construction process is increased.
