The invention discloses a novel light high-strength nonmetal sound barrier which comprises concrete face plates, a sound absorbing layer, concrete back plates and concrete side plates provided with male and female grooves corresponding in size. The sound absorbing layer is arranged between the concrete face plates and the concrete face plates, and the concrete side plates arranged on the top face and the bottom face the sound barrier. The concrete face plates are provided with sound absorbing holes. The novel light high-strength nonmetal sound barrier can be formed by utilizing excellent performance of reinforced concrete in one time, and the formed sound barrier has the advantages of having wider-frequency noise reduction performance and being high in strength, excellent in durable performance, simple in process, convenient to operate, low in cost and the like.
