The present invention relates to a road marking with an optical illusion, wherein a road marking is recognized by a driver as if the road marking stands vertically on the surface of a road, thereby improving the readability of letters, and the eyes of a driver are guided by a road surface marking, thereby facilitating safe driving. The road marking is printed on the surface of a road to provide information to a long-distance driver through letters or figures, wherein arbitrary horizontal and vertical sides projected at the same length to the eyes of the driver at a reference distance between the driver and the road surface marking are printed on the surface of a road so that the length of the printed horizontal side is longer than that of the printed vertical side, and the two adjacent vertical sides form an acute angle together.
