A high-performance setting accelerator for concrete is composed of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 to 50 parts of polycarboxylic acid high-efficient water reducer, 10 to 30 parts of sodium fluoride, 10 to 15 parts of sodium gluconate, 5 to 10 parts of cellulose, 1 to 10 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate, and 20 to 40 parts of water. The setting accelerator is a brown liquid, the concentration is 25 to 40%, and the density is 1.08 to 1.35 g/cm2. The setting accelerator is capable of making concrete solidify in a very short time so as to reach certain strength, has little negative effect on the post-stage strength of concrete, does not corrode the steel bars in concrete, improves the work efficiency, and reduces the waste.
