The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, and discloses a high-performance concrete accelerator and a preparation method thereof, the high-performance concrete accelerator is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 25-35 parts of a neutralizer, 10-20 parts of an auxiliary agent, 2-8 parts of an accelerator, 2-5 parts of a regulator, 2-5 parts of a compounding agent, and 35-55 parts of RO water. The neutralizing agent comprises sodium thiosulfate and sodium chromate, the molar mass ratio of the sodium thiosulfate to the sodium chromate is 2: 1, the auxiliary agent comprises sodium bicarbonate and calcium silicate, the molar mass ratio of the sodium bicarbonate to the calcium silicate is 1: 3, the accelerant comprises calcium phosphate and dimethyl oxalyl glycine, and the molar mass ratio of the calcium phosphate to the dimethyl oxalyl glycine is 2: 1. When the accelerator disclosed by the invention is used, thiosulfate radicals in the neutralizer can be combined with calcium ions in the auxiliary agent to form a complex which is difficult to decompose, so that the solidification of concrete is accelerated, and the working and using efficiency of the accelerator is improved.
