The invention provides a local road model of urban traffic. The road model comprises a first crossroad 1, a second crossroad 2, a first turning area 3 and a second turning area 4; the driveway distribution and passing method of four intersections of the first crossroad 1 are the same; each intersection is composed of roads at two sides, wherein the road at one side is used for driving away from the crossword, while the road at the other side is used for driving into the crossword; a turning driveway is arranged at the road for driving into the crossroad, comprising two straight-going driveways and one right-going driveway; the first crossroad 1 and the second crossroad 2 have the same driveway distribution and passing methods; the first turning area 3 is composed of a traffic stream dividing area at the left side, and a traffic stream gathering area at the right side; the second turning area is composed of a traffic stream dividing area at the right side, and a traffic stream gathering area at the left side; the traffic stream dividing areas are composed of a through driveway, a turning driveway and a turning or through driveway.
