The novel walking type vibrating tamper is small in volume, low in noise, convenient in transportation, convenient to operate and durable in use; the novel walking type vibrating tamper only needs to be pushed to walk at the edge of a field and does not need to enter the field to work, so that the labor intensity of workers can be lightened; the novel walking type vibrating tamper is high in tap density and high in tamping quality, and all technical indexes of the vibrating tamper can meet the requirements of construction specification; after the novel walking type vibrating tamper is used, the tamping working efficiencies of the different parts are respectively increased by 1-5 times, so that the working efficiency is improved.
