The invention discloses a vehicle height limit device, comprising a pair of vertical erecting beams, clamping openings are formed in the tops of the two erecting beams; a suspension beam is arranged in the clamping openings of the two erecting beams; clamping seats at the bottom of the suspension beam are clamped in the clamping openings of the corresponding erecting beams; a plurality of distance measuring sensors are arranged at the bottom of the suspension beam; a video camera is arranged at the top of the suspension beam; and a control box is also arranged on the suspension beam. The vehicle height limit device can be easily disassembled for transportation and transfer.
