The invention discloses a mechanical coded lock which comprises a password disc (101), and further comprises a panel (200), a rotating shaft (102), a lock sheet (605) and a code modulating plate (500), wherein by rotating the rotating shaft (102) and a cam (1022), the lock sheet (605) is driven to move to lock or release the a locking plate (604), and with the moving of the locking plate (604), locking or unlocking can be achieved; the rotating shaft (102) is arranged on the code modulating plate (500); by moving the code modulating plate (500), the rotating shaft (102) is released from or connected to the password disc (101); and the password disc (101) is rotated to modulate the code under the state that the password disc (101) is released from the rotating shaft (102). The coded lock disclosed by the invention is high in technical unlocking performance, compact in structure and reliable in performance, and is specifically applicable to the emergency unlocking of a fingerprint lock.
