The invention belongs to the field of production of sintered ceramsite filter cores, and relates to a production method of a sintered ceramsite filter core. A technical problem to be solved in the invention is overcoming weak adsorption capability and low bonding strength of PP cotton filter cores in present water purification methods. The production method of the sintered ceramsite filter core has the advantages of good water purification effect and high efficiency. The production method of the sintered ceramsite filter core comprises the following steps: 1, receiving and mixing raw materials: mixing 25wt% of zinc salt with 25wt% of limonite powder, 25wt% of tourmaline powder and 25wt% of negative ion powder; 2, burdening and mixing: adding the above obtained mixture into ceramsite powder according to a weight ratio of 1-5:100, and adding a functional assistant; 3, igniting, carrying out exhausting sintering, and carrying out sintering molding through using a die; and 4, carrying out exhausting cooling, crushing, and screening. The water purification filter core obtained in the invention has sterilization and adsorption effects.
