The foaming agent comprises sodium bicarbonate, a thickening agent, oxalic acid and an alkali activator. The preparation method of the foaming agent comprises the following steps: mixing sodium bicarbonate, a thickening agent and an alkali activator, adding water, and stirring to obtain a mixture; adding oxalic acid into the mixture, stirring, and then sealing to form foam. The porous light unfired ceramsite comprises a foaming agent and a ceramsite base material. The preparation method of the porous light non-sintered ceramsite comprises the following steps: mixing sodium bicarbonate, the thickening agent and the alkali activator, adding water, stirring, adding oxalic acid to form foam, mixing the fly ash, the cement, the waterproof agent and the foam, granulating, spraying water, and naturally curing to obtain the porous light non-sintered ceramsite. High-temperature calcination is not needed, the process is simple, and the obtained ceramsite is low in stacking density, high in compressive strength, capable of meeting the compressive strength requirement in a conventional application environment and wide in application range.
