The invention relates to a preparation method of a high-strength light-weight carbon/carbon composite material, which comprises the following steps: 1. coating a sizing agent on the continuous filament carbon fiber surface, and winding the pretreated continuous filament carbon fiber to prepare a highly-oriented conical C/C composite material preform blank; 2. carrying out vacuum impregnation on the preform blank obtained in the step 1; 3. carrying out pressurized carbonization on the prepreg obtained in the step 2 in a nitrogen protective atmosphere, impregnating into an impregnant solution for gap filling, and carrying out chemical vapor deposition (CVD); 4. carrying out graphitization on the product obtained in the step 3, impregnating, and carrying out CVD; and 5. carrying out vapor activation on the compact carbon/carbon composite product obtained in the step 4 to obtain the high-strength light-weight carbon/carbon composite material. The tensile strength of the high-strength light-weight carbon/carbon composite material is up to 800 MPa above, the heat conductivity is 500-530 W/(m.K), and the heat diffusivity is 4.4 cm<2>/s.
