The invention discloses an adjustable type traffic guardrail. The adjustable type traffic guardrail comprises a base, main stand columns and a protection frame, wherein the base is in bolt connection with the main stand columns; fixed lugs are arranged on the two sides of each of the main stand columns; top plates are arranged in the fixed lugs; clamping blocks are arranged on the top plates and are semi-spherical; the protection frame comprises transverse beams, vertical beams, grid plate base plates and grid plates; one side, close to the main stand columns, of each vertical beam is provided with iron plates corresponding to the positions of the fixed lugs; fixed holes are formed in the iron plates; the protection frame is arranged in the fixed lugs by the iron plates to be movably connected with the main stand columns; a slide way is arranged on the side wall of the lower part of each main stand column and a bayonet is arranged at the side part of each slide way; universal wheel adjusting rods are arranged in the slide ways; adjusting transverse rods are arranged on the universal wheel adjusting rods; universal wheels are arranged at the lower parts of the universal wheel adjusting rods. According to the adjustable type traffic guardrail, the traffic guardrail is easier to break after being fiercely impacted and the whole guiderail is prevented from large-area displacement; the maintenance difficulty is reduced and the installation is more convenient; the damage state of the traffic guiderail can be monitored and the traffic guiderail can be maintained in time.
