The invention discloses a light mounting bracket for a photovoltaic solar panel for a roof. The light mounting bracket comprises mounting beams fixedly mounted on the roof and mounting plates for fixing the photovoltaic solar panel, wherein the mounting beams adopt invertedly-buckled groove structures, parts, in contact with the roof, of the mounting beams are fixed on the roof by adopting first screws, and nuts are fixed on the inner sides of the upper top plates of the mounting beams; one photovoltaic solar panel is fixedly mounted on the mounting beams through four mounting plates, wherein two mounting plates are symmetrically welded to a front position and a rear position on the left side of the photovoltaic solar panel, and the other two mounting plates are symmetrically welded to a front position and a rear position on the right side of the photovoltaic solar panel; the mounting plates adopt steel angle structures, through holes are formed in positions, corresponding to the nuts, of base plates of the mounting plates, and second screws matched with the nuts penetrate through the through holes to be screwed in the nuts, so that the mounting plates are fixed on the mounting beams. The mounting bracket disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, reasonable in design, firm and reliable, few in material consumption and low in cost.
